Patisserie 46's John Kraus is bringing savory back, he told Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl at Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. One night only this holiday season, he'll be closing down the bakery to serve a 10-course dinner with tea pairings and live music. The menu will be dessert-heavy, with at least two or three dessert courses, but will also include dishes like cauliflower soup with duck confit. And, of course, all diners will leave with a box of Patisserie 46 chocolates.
When's this all going down? Either the Saturday before or the Saturday after Christmas. Patisserie 46 will be announcing the dinner on their Facebook page, and once they sell out of the $100 seats, they're out. "I think it will be pretty spectacular," Kraus told Grumdahl. "Or at least, it better be, for what we're thinking of charging."
