Welcome to the Plywood Report, wherein Eater obsessively tracks still in the works restaurants. Have a plywood tip? Send it in.
1) Longfellow: Construction has begun on the coffee shop/restaurant Parka, which is a collaboration between Dogwood Coffee, Rustica Bakery, and Victory 44's Erick Harcey. It will be opening in a shared space with Forage Modern Workshop at the corner of East Lake Street and 41st Avenue South. [PLYWOOD]
2) Uptown: Looks like Republic is putting some of the final touches on its new Uptown location, according to Thrillist Twin Cities editor Drew Wood. He tweets a photo of the Republic sign and says: "I spy with my little eye...@republicmn's branding on HennLake." [POST-PLYWOOD]
3) St. Paul: Summit Brewing broke ground on their cellar expansion last Friday, November 9 with a groundbreaking ceremony featuring St. Paul mayor Chris Coleman. Limited capacity meant the brewery had to cut 12 beers this year, so they have moved up the original June 2013 construction date. The renovation will double the brewery's capacity. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
