A new "fast casual" sushi restaurant will open downtown in January, reports The Journal Mpls. The restaurant—called One Two Three Sushi—will be opened by Sushi Avenue, the parent company of Masu Sushi & Robata in Northeast, but they are separate concepts.
One Two Three Sushi will focus on quick service sushi, as well as noodles and steamed buns. While all menu items will be made to order, the restaurant is focused on fast service and low prices (presumably for that downtown lunch crowd). Weighing in at all of 700 square feet, the restaurant will take over the former Godiva retail space in the IDS Center. This location is likely to be the first of many in a prospective One Two Three Sushi chain.
