Robbinsdale's famously no-reservation restaurant Travail Kitchen and Amusements has started taking limited reservations this week. They are setting aside a dozen seats during prime dining hours for a $125 (plus gratuity) dinner that will draw from the a la carte menu, the 8-course tasting menu, and the 15-course tasting menu. "We'll just cook for you, if that's what you want," Mike Brown, co-chef/co-owner, told the Star Tribune. "It's basically all you can eat, and all you can drink." In other Travail news, Brown is hoping that construction on the new Travail location (three doors down from the current one and twice the size) will begin in the spring. [Star Tribune]
