Yesterday's water main break flooded a four block radius around the epicenter at Hennepin Ave. and 2nd St. N., making downtown Minneapolis look like the set for Waterworld, creating epic traffic snarls, closing most government buildings, and causing several downtown restaurants to lose water pressure and forcing them to shutter for the night. But never fear, we've confirmed — via Twitter, Facebook, and good old fashioned phone call — that most of the affected restaurants are open as usual today.
Here's a list of restaurants that closed last night and are open as usual today: Be'Wiched Deli, Black Sheep Pizza, Fogo de Chao, Origami, Rosa Mexicano, Spoonriver, The Oceanaire Seafood Room, and Bar la Grassa.
And here's a few that were closed last night and that we haven't gotten info on yet: Haute Dish, Kindee Thai, and Seven.
Finally, Sea Change reports that it is closed for lunch today due to mechanical difficulties.
