Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Katie Cannon visits some of the city's great restaurants coffee shops to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, the brand-new Spyhouse Northeast.

After opening last Monday, the brand-new Northeast location of Spyhouse Coffee is already packed from the second it opens at 6 a.m. until closing at midnight. The refurbished space features 3,000 board feet of reclaimed barn wood from Amish families in Wisconin, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows and custom-built tables and chairs. Big, airy, and featuring lots of seating, the new location will also soon be roasting Spyhouse's own coffee.
Yesterday, photographer Katie Cannon stopped in to capture the space and the scene at the beginning of Spyhouse Northeast's second week of business. Take a look.
