Minneapolis's first hard cider taproom, Sociable Cider Werks, seems to be chugging along toward a hoped-for December opening at their Northeast location. Most importantly, the tanks are in, as co-founders and co-owners Jim Watkins and Wade Thompson are planning to start brewing cider by November; with a 6-8 week production cycle, that would keep the opening on track. More plywood photos on the cidery's Facebook page show tables made of old wire spools, a bar build-out, an outdoor bocce court, and lots and lots of reclaimed barn wood (as also seen on the walls in the photo above).
