Heidi and Stewart Woodman Divorcing, Closing Heidi's Permanently, Effective Immediately

Husband-and-wife restaurant team Stewart and Heidi Woodman announced today that they will be divorcing and that their Uptown restaurant Heidi's has shuttered for good.

A statement from the Woodmans reads, "We kindly ask that our privacy be respected. While we've made the decision to end our marriage, we share the same love and commitment to our two children. Our focus is on them at this time."

The Woodmans have been married for 12 years; the statement said the decision to divorce was mutual. They opened Heidi's six years ago. Recently, they announced that this version of Heidi's would close on December 31 and reopen as a different concept in 2014; those plans seem to be shelved with this news.
