Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Katie Cannon visits some of the city's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, Corner Table.
With its inventive takes on local food, Kingfield neighborhood favorite Corner Table has a loyal (and fervent) fanbase. And while it's always busy, it has really brought out the crowds this week for Restaurant Week. A frequent restaurant week participant, the restaurant has mastered the art of the $30 three-course meal; this time, offerings include crispy pork belly, cassoulet, and the restaurant's trademark sweet potato doughnut.
Photographer Katie Cannon stopped by last night on a jam packed Wednesday to capture both the dining room and the kitchen, complete with lots of shots of Corner Table's precise plating. Take a look.
