1) Surly Darkness Day 2013
When: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Where: Surly Brewing Company
What: Spend the afternoon at the Surly brewery drinking beer, eating food, and listening to live music for the release of Surly's 2013 Darkness Russian Imperial Stout. If you want a bottle of Darkness, get there early as it is limited (Caribou Coffee and Glam Doll Donuts will be on site starting at 6 a.m.). Food Trucks Stanley's On Wheels, Scratch Food Truck, Gogi Brothers Korean BBQ, Natedogs, and Asian Invasion will be there during the actual event. 2) Spyhouse Coffee Grand Opening Halloween Bash
When: Saturday, 6 p.m.
Where: Spyhouse Coffee Northeast
What: Spyhouse Coffee Roasters is proud to announce the grand opening of their new cafe and roasting facility location in Northeast Minneapolis. 3) Tuned Beer Presents Communist Daughter at 612Brew?
When: Friday, 6 p.m.
Where: 612 Brew
What: There's another party at a brewery. This time 612Brew has partnered with Tuned Beer to do a special release beer in bottles only and are celebrating with live music, food trucks, and more beer. 4) Birchwood Cafe 18th Anniversary Party
When: Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m.
Where: Birchwood Cafe
What: Birchwood Cafe is celebrating 18 years in business with a family-friendly party. There will be complimentary food, sweet treats, local beer, and more.
