Uptown restaurant Lake & Irving very quietly opened on Monday at—where else—Lake Street and Irving Avenue. Run by brothers Chris and Andrew Ikeda, the 3,800-square-foot restaurant promises American food with Asian influences; no menu is available yet online, but a CBS preview included dishes like lobster tostadas and misoyaki salmon.

Lake & Irving is serving lunch, dinner, and late night during the week, and also brunch on weekends. It is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. - 1 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.
