When: Wednesday, 4 to 10 p.m.
Where: Butcher & the Boar
What: Butcher & the Boar is throwing a special Wednesday Beer Bash in their beer garden with Fulton Beer. There will be live music, a special Fulton Libertine B&TB sausage, and 8 Fulton brews on tap including extra special releases like Knob Creek barrel-aged Libertine and the recently released Batch 300. Find more information here.

turkeybowlsmudwat.jpg2) Muddy Waters Turkey Bowl 2013
When: Wednesday, 10 p.m. to midnight
Where: Muddy Waters
What: On the night before Thanksgiving, come to Muddy Waters for their annual holiday tradition, The Turkey Bowl. A $5 donation to Joyce Uptown Foodshelf gets you 3 frozen turkey tosses on the patio. That's right, you toss frozen turkeys while drinking (just don't go over the line). Winner takes home a $50 Muddy Waters gift certificate and a bag of Summit swag. Costumes encouraged. More information can be found here.

When: Now through December 8th
Where: Rye Delicatessen & Bar
What: This year, Thanksgiving and the start of Hanukkah happen to fall on the same day, so Rye Deli has put together a Thanksgivukkah menu in celebration. Menu items include spinach and sweet potato latkes with cranberry relish and challah stuffing. They're even doing specialty cocktails like the Melted Gelt. To see the special menu, click here.

senorwongblfriday.jpg4) Señor Wong Imperial Black Friday
When: Friday, 5 p.m.

What: Black Friday for Señor Wong means dedicating the majority their draft lines to stouts and porters. There will be a special release of Indeed Brewing's Rum King, a Jamaican rum barrel-aged imperial stout. Food pairings will be available as well as a featured dessert: Mexican chocolate brownie with Brooklyn Chocolate Imperial Stout ice cream. Check out beer lineup and other information here.

chowgirls1.jpg5) Chowgirls Brunch with Santa Friday 2013
When: Friday, 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Chowgirls Parlor
What: Looking for some family food fun? Grab brunch with Santa at Chowgirls Parlor in NE Minneapolis. Take pictures with Santa, hear him read classic holiday stories, participate in crafts, and listen to holiday tunes. Then nibble on Chowgirls brunch fare, sip cocktails (grown-up and kiddie versions) and check out the milk bar. Tickets must be purchased and can be found here.

tastemakersz.jpgAlso of Note: Mpls St. Paul Magazine's Tastemakers is back once again, hosted by Stephanie March and Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl, and this time they'll be talking women entrepreneurs, plus food from Common Roots Cafe, Finnegans beers, and more (Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m.). Excelsior Brewery is having a weekend long Christkindlsmarkt Party with traditional German things like beer (obviously) live music, and more (Friday & Saturday). Mill City Museum is doing Black Friday, with deals, giveaways, and more importantly, free doughnuts and coffee while supplies last (Friday, 6 a.m.). Bring your Black Friday shopping receipts to Stout's Pub for $3 taps of Badger Hill brews including their Cherry Double Dunkel (Friday). Harriet Brewing's Great Mo'Down takes place Saturday with a ton of music, mustaches, beer, and Cajun 2 Geaux. The holiday season is upon us which means ice skating at The Depot Ice Rink. It officially opens (Thursday).
