Here's your PSA of the day: apple graffs are now on tap at Sociable Cider Werks. The just-opened Northeast brewery and cidery (or should that be graffery?) didn't think its apple-alcohol product would be ready until early January, but, lo, they've announced on their blog that the graffs are actually ready now.
What is an apple graff? It's a mixture of cider and beer wort that produces a dry, effervescent product with a 7-9% ABV. Their first apple graff on tap, Freewheeler Dry, is the most like a traditional European cider. Still to come is Broken Spoke, which blends cider with milk stout brew.
