Get Ready to Vote for the Hottest Chef in Minneapolis

It's currently 26 degrees in Minneapolis, but it's about to heat up, big time. Why? In honor of Valentine's Day, we're launching Eater Minneapolis's first-ever Hottest Chef Day Competition. (It's Eater's fifth-annual Hottest Chef bonanza, but since we're in our first year, it's our first time. So please be gentle.)

Here's how it works: 15 reader-nominated chefs will battle it out in four different preliminary rounds. The the four winners of each round will then go up against one other winner in the semifinals; then, the two finalists will go head-to-head. By 5 p.m., one lucky nominee will be crowned the Hottest Chef in Minneapolis. That lucky winner will then battle it out with the hot chefs from all of the other Eater cities for the title of Hottest Chef in America. So, national glory is at stake here, people. Make your votes count.

We'll add a new poll just about every 45 minutes, and voting will stay open for approximately 90 minutes. So vote early, and make sure to keep checking back for new polls, with new hotties.

There will be a lot of hot chef action on Eater today. If that's not your thing, then perhaps you might enjoy reading about last-minute Valentine's Day foodie gift ideas and aphrodisiac dishes on one of the many other fine dining blogs out there. But if you like looking at hotties that can cook you some food, this promises to be a lot of fun.
