Today, the James Beard Foundation announced the winners of the 2013 America's Classics Award, and Minneapolis's own Kramarczuk's was among the five winners. In the announcement, the JBF praised Kramarczuk's as a "landmark sausage-making company and restaurant," and described the many menu options, including deli sandwiches, cabbage rolls, dumplings, salads, crepes, piroshk, and, of course, those sausages:
Of course there's an ever-changing selection of the house specialty, the butcher shop's expertly made sausages, bratwurst, kielbasa, and wieners, swiped with some of the kitchen's zesty mustard and stuffed into sturdy, house-made golden buns.
