After opening three weeks ago, Rincón 38 has already received at least one glowing review. Chef and co-owner Hector Ruíz—also of Café Ena and the now-shuttered El Mesón—focuses on small plates with Mediterranean influences. The small space on the corner of 38th Street and Grand Avenue is full of warm wood two-tops, as well as a bar with a dozen or so more seats. A yellow and blue color scheme (yellow for the paint and the glass lamp fixtures, blue for the tile and the door curtain) add to the Mediterranean feel. Take a look.
