Delayed after a promised New Year's Eve opening, the bizarrely-named Zeke's Unchained Animal will finally be opening its doors for the first time this afternoon. With a slogan promising "Funky Name, Ugly Carpet, Damn Good Food," the neighborhood burger/pizza/beer spot seems to really be selling itself. The menu includes an Unchained Burger (lamb burger with sautéed onion, cheddar, and pepper jack) and a Not-So-Minnesota Nice PIzza (andouille sausage, onions, and peppers sautéed with cayenne pepper and chili oil).

Zeke unchains the animal for the first time today at 4 p.m. They begin regular hours on Saturday: open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays for brunch and dinner 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
