Last week, Origami quietly opened a second location in Uptown's Mozaic Building. The restaurant's long-time downtown location serves what is considered some of the best sushi in the Twin Cities; an earlier offshoot called Origami West, located in Minnetonka's Ridgedale Mall, is now closed. The new spot features many of the same menu classics, as well as dishes that are new to Origami Uptown. Eater Minneapolis sent photographer Jamie Schumacher to shoot the sleek two-level space, complete with airborne wood sculpture. Take a look.

They serve dinner only Monday through Wednesday (4:30 to 11 p.m.); and lunch (11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and dinner (4:30 to 11 p.m. or midnight) Thursday through Sunday. Currently, It's walk-ins only; no reservations.
