Beer fans may have to wait another year or more for Surly's $20 million brewery extravaganza, but this summer will bring as many as three new breweries to the Central Corridor, according to TC Daily Planet. The owners of Urban Growler, Jill Pavlak and Deb Loch, have signed a lease for a 6,200-foot space that will serve as a brewery and taproom, with six to eight beers on tap, including their award-winning IPA.
Bang Brewing Co. is also moving into the area, with a location at 2320 Capp Road, and Burning Brothers Brewing plans to open this summer in the Hamline-Midway area at 1750 Thomas Ave.
