Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are five choice dining events going on around the Twin Cities:

When: Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
Where: 612 Brew
What: 612 hosts 5 local food trucks (The Anchor Fish & Chips, Stanley's, Gastrotruck, Scratch, and World Street Kitchen), 4 local bands, and lots of local beer (612, Indeed, Boom Island, Grain Belt, Nordeast, Northgae) in the brewery and taproom's parking lot benefiting the East Minneapolis Exchange Club. Surly%20SevIIn.jpg2) Surly's 7th Anniversary Event & SeVIIn Release Party
When: Sunday, 6 to 11 p.m.
Where: Varsity Theater
What: The brewery celebrates its 7th anniversary with the release of SeVIIn, a Belgian-style strong ale. The event has music, poster signings, and more details and sketches of Surly's upcoming "destination brewery".

When: Saturday, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: Various Locations & Midtown Greenway
What: Musicians, artists, dancers, actors, and people of all ages come together to explore Minneapolis during the nighttime festival. Food trucks will be located at the Minneapolis Convention Center and primarily along 12th Street. The evening ends along the Midtown Greenway with the Greenway Glow with free food from Bar Louis (10 p.m. to midnight), live music, and a beer garden in parking lot behind the Lagoon Cinema (6 p.m. to midnight). When: Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Linden Hills Co-op
What: The Co-op is once again partnering with Rock Camp for Dads to host a music festival with 6 live bands. Bring in non-perishable food items and get free 100% grass fed grilled burgers and hot dogs from Grass Run Farms, cheese curds from Castle Rock Organic, caramel corn from Drew's Homemade Caramel Corn, and bananas from Equal Exchange. Between 1 to 2 p.m, see food writer and radio host Stephanie March during a live broad cast of 107.1's Weekly Dish radio show. Free and for all-ages.

When: Saturday, 4 to 10 p.m.
Where: 8th & Hennepin
What: City Pages brings the inaugural music festival to downtown with a multi-genre music line-up. A VIP ticket will get you access to an exclusive bar, private bathrooms and all-you-can-eat artichoke dip, wings, lucky Luciano pasta salad, a variety of pizzas, and dessert courtesy of Pizza Luce. Or hit up Potter's Pasties, Café Race, Vellee Deli, and Neato's food trucks. Tickets: $20-45.

republic%20calhoun.jpgAlso of Note: Punch Pizza is serving up $1 pints of 612 Brew when you buy a pizza (through Sunday) during its Fire & Craft Beer Festival. Flat Earth is having a meet the brewer and firkin tapping event at Grumpy's in Roseville (Friday, 5 p.m.). Stanley's Bar is holding a Brooklyn Brewery 3-course tasting menu (thru Friday). Harriet Brewing is hosting Yoga + Beer = Bliss! (Saturday, noon to 2 p.m.). Republic is offering a 4-course Olvalde beer dinner at its Uptown location (Tuesday, 7 p.m.) call for reservations.
