Psycho Suzi's Owner Proposes New, Country-Club Themed Restaurant, Betty Danger's Country Club

After two years of sitting fallow, the former Psycho Suzi's space in Northeast may be getting new life as Betty Danger's Country Club. According to TC Daily Planet, Psycho Suzi's owner Leslie Bock—herself known as "Psycho Suzi"—hasn't been able to sell the former tiki bar space, so she has decided to open a restaurant there herself. The restaurant would feature a full bar, with the food a Minnesota version of Tex-Mex. It would also include a specially-designed ferris wheel and a mini-golf course, in keeping with the country club theme.

The first step toward making Betty Danger's a reality is a meeting tonight with the Concerned Citizens of Marshall Terrace, a neighborhood group that has to endorse a couple variances to the zoning code in order for the project to move forward. Bock also owns Donnie Dirk's Zombie Den in North Minneapolis.
