New Details on the Unnamed Restaurant Replacing Joe's Garage, Plus a Preview This Weekend

The as-yet-unnamed new restaurant that will replace the shuttered Joe's Garage will be giving a small preview of food and cocktails this weekend, reports City Pages. The Loring Park restaurant is still owned by Joe Kaplan, but they've got a new chef on board—David Yusefzadeh (most recently from Smack Shack)—and also a new menu consultant, Butcher & the Boar's James Beard award-nominated chef Jack Riebel. According to City Pages, they'll be serving a fried oyster slider and a pork slider, "with flavors inspired by Southern China." They will also be serving cocktails, and the "word on the street" is that the bar program is going to be vodka-based.

The preview will run Saturday and Sunday; the restaurant is still planning to open this fall.
