Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographers visit some of the city's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, Parka.
Since opening less than six months ago, Parka has already become a Longfellow staple. The restaurant/coffeeshop is a triple threat: a menu from Victory 44's Erick Harcey, pastries from Rustica Bakery, and coffee from local roaster Dogwood. A subtle wood wall separates Parka from furniture and home goods store Forage Modern Workshop, which shares its space.
Yesterday, photographer Katie Cannon stopped by to capture the brunch/lunch scene. Below, take a tour of the restaurant (and open kitchen) on a sunny Sunday.
