St. Paul's Mac's Fish and Chips is slated to open a second location at 54th and Lyndale, reports Southwest Journal. The father-and-son team of Dan and Tom Flanagan will run the restaurant and it will serve fresh, hand-battered fish, fries, and homemade saltwater taffy similar to the St. Paul original location.
According to the Southwest Journal, the 1,000-square-foot space is about the same size as the St. Paul location at Hamline & Larpenteur, although the new spot may include beer and wine and about 30 seats. An east parking lot would provide about five parking spots, Tom said, and on-street parking would provide the rest of the parking access.
Mac's Minneapolis location is hoping to open in September.
