Bachelor Farmer Kräftskiva, Uptown Art Fair, and More

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are five choice dining events going on around the Twin Cities:

kraftskiva.jpg1) Kräftskiva Crayfish Party
When: Saturday, 5 to 10 p.m.
Where: The Bachelor Farmer
What: The Bachelor Farmer's 2nd annual block party, called Kräftskiva, shuts down the restaurant and Marvel Bar and takes over the street next to the building. Expect chilled crayfish, Swedish meatballs, corn, adult sno-cones, chilled Aquavit, beer, and more during the Scandinavian celebration. There will be live music, including a mystery headliner that has yet to be announced. Check out TBF's Facebook event page for more information.

When: Friday through Sunday
Where: Hennepin Ave & W Lake Street
What: The 50th Annual Uptown Art Fair returns to the streets with art, music, food, and more. Find AZ Canteen truck, food from Kitchen Window, wine and beer in the Schell's Beer Garden, and much more at this outdoor festival. See dates and times, maps, and other festival information here.

When: Saturday, 4 to 10 p.m.
Where: 50th & France Ave
What: The Minneapolis brewery brings its beer to 50th & France with a pub crawl. The event kicks off with samplings then moves to restaurants along the avenue such as Barrio, The Pig and Fiddle, and Red Cow. More information can be found on Fulton's website here.

When: Thursday, 5 to 9 p.m.
Where: Haute Dish
What: Haute Dish is joining forces with O'Dell Brewery for a beer dinner this evening. Four courses are paired with select beers from O'Dell Brewery such as BBQ pork served with a sour ale. Check out more of the menu items here.

Rush-River.png5) Rush River Brewery Beer Dinner
When: Wednesday 7 p.m.
Where: Bar Abilene
What: Bar Abilene and Rush River Brewing Co. have joined forces for a beer dinner. The beer for this dinner will be served from special firkins and paired with the menu items. There are limited amount of seats for this event and ticket information can be found here.

hheartbrew.jpgAlso of Note: HammerHeart Brewing is opening their taproom doors to the public for the first time (Friday, 4 p.m). Vine Park is having a beer dinner cruise next week and tickets are still available (Thursday, 6 p.m.). Kafe 421 celebrates 10 years in Dinkytown by bringing 10 weeks of dining specials. Tickets for next weekend's Smack Shack summer block party and crayfish boil are on sale now.
