The owners of St. Paul restaurant the Strip Club Meat & Fish will almost definitely be opening a new restaurant in the Lowertown neighborhood of St. Paul, reports the Star Tribune. At a meeting tomorrow, St. Paul's Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is expected to approve a restaurant/bar lease at the Lofts at Farmers Market, the Lowertown apartment complex. The tenants are listed as Tim Niver and J.D. Fratzke, the Strip Club's co-owners and the general manager and chef, respectively.
No news yet on the restaurant concept or opening date; the lease will begin in November or possibly even earlier.
