The team behind the North Loop's Borough (and basement bar Parlour) will be opening a second restaurant in Uptown, according to Stephanie March at Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. The restaurant, called coup d'état, will be located in the Walkway apartment complex, above the former Cowboy Slim's. The 300-seat space will include a two-story dining space, a mezzanine lounge, outdoor seating, and a street-side window for pick-up (hello, late night eats).
The Borough team (officially known as Jester Concepts, LLC) is still working on the menu, but they told March that the food will be contemporary Mediterranean. They're shooting for a late fall opening.
