DOWNTOWN—New-ish downtown restaurant Marin has added weekend brunch, served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located in Le Méridien Chambers Hotel, Marin is the second restaurant from Craig Bentdahl, who also owns Mill Valley Kitchen in St. Louis Park. NORTHEAST—German-style bakery and coffee shop Aki's Backstube will be opening at 2504/6 Central Avenue in Northeast, reports the Journal Mpls.
