Sea Salt, Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Katie Cannon visits some of the city's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, Sea Salt.

[Katie Cannon]

Summer may be drawing to a close, but Minnehaha Park's seasonal seafood restaurant Sea Salt is still going strong. After Labor Day, the line starts to get a little less crazy, but the kitchen is still pumping out the same glorious oysters, fish tacos, calamari, seafood po' boys, and more until it closes for the season on October 28th (not to reopen again until the beginning of April).

Last night, photographer Katie Cannon stopped by at 6 p.m. to capture the end-of-day crowd, complete with bicycles, babies, bivalves, and, of course, beers. Check out the scene by clicking on the photo above.
