Yesterday, newly-launched Minneapolis brewery Lake Monster Brewing announced the release of Empty Rowboat IPA, now on tap at Alary's in St. Paul according to their Twitter feed. Lake Monster plans on making the IPA (along with their Calhoun Claw Pilsner) available in more locations across the Twin Cities soon and hopes to start selling bottles in stores within the following months.
According to MN Beer Activists, the brewery was founded by three Minnesota natives—Matt Zanetti, Matt Lange, and Jeremy Maynor; Lake Monster Brewing is based out of Minneapolis and currently brewing their beer in Black River Falls, WI under the supervision of co-founder Lange, former assistant brewer at Ale Asylum in Madison.
