Fall is coming, the leaves will soon be falling, and it's time to wax nostalgic about long lost restaurants, the ones you miss like old loves. So for this week's Open Thread, we want you to name the one restaurant you miss the most in the Twin Cities, whether it closed yesterday or 40 years ago. Anywhere is fair game, from high falutin' to your favorite sandwich shop, pizza place, or bar. Everyone has a lost restaurant or bar love, so put all thoughts in the comments and remember the tipline is open.
And while you're waxing nostalgic make sure you let us know where your favorite spot was located and why you miss the defunct eatery. Childhood memories? Incredible food? Special atmosphere? Met your spouse there over a shot of tequila? Check back next week to see a roll call of the Twin Cities' most mourned dearly departed.
