1) 1st Annual New Bohemia Oktoberfest

What: The 1st Annual Munich Beer Fest at New Bohemia Wurst+BierHaus brings traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest to Northeast Minneapolis. Ten breweries (including Bad Weather, Lucid, Third Street, and more) and twenty unique types of beer will be available all weekend long. What better to accompany all that beer than some of the finest sausages in Minnesota; from traditional bratwurst to more adventurous flavors like rattlesnake, rabbit, and alligator. 2) Northbound Smokehouse & Brewpub Anniversary Party
When: Friday through Sunday
Where: Northbound Smokehouse & Brewpub
What: Northbound Smokehouse is taking over their own taps (all 12 draft lines) starting Friday in celebration of their one-year anniversary. Look for food and drink specials and prizes all weekend long. Some of the brewpub's beers available on tap will include Wild Rice Amber, Clementine Big Jim IPA, Granola Girl Pale, Smoked Cherry Porter, Hot Box (a collaboration beer with Indeed Brewing), and many more. 3) Gasthof Zur Gemutlichkeit Oktoberfest
When: Friday through Sunday (through October 12th)
Where: Gasthof Zur Gemutlichkeit
What: Get ready to drink out of a giant glass boot and shout "ziggy zaggy" as Gasthof's season of Oktoberfest kicks off this Friday. There will be beer, dancing, live polka music, German food (brats, bbq ribs, smoked pork chops, sauerkraut, potato salad, apfelstrudel, soft pretzels with cheese), and so much more. 4) Saint Paul Oktoberfest
When: Friday, 6 to 11 p.m. and Saturday, noon to 11 p.m.
Where: The Klub House
What: The Saint Paul Oktoberfest celebrates the proud Germanic heritage of the city's North End neighborhood at this family-friendly event. 5) Uptown Tavern Oktoberfest
When: Saturday and Sunday
Where: Uptown Tavern & Rooftop
What: Uptown Tavern and Rooftop is pleased to announce that they will be partaking in the festivities of Oktoberfest this year. Expect German music, food, and thirty Oktoberfest beers on tap through October 6th. Also of Note: Indeed Brewing invades the taps at Blue Door Pub in St. Paul to kick of Autumn Brew Review week (Monday, 11 a.m.). Open Streets Mpls is back again this weekend on North Lowry Ave. (Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Bad Weather Brewing invites you to meet the owners/brewers as they release their Firefly Rye Pale Ale at Rye Deli (Monday, 5 p.m.). The Beer Dabbler Bullpen at Midway Stadium is calling all beer drinkers to join them for pick-up kick ball and $2 pints (Friday, 6 p.m.). 612Brew and Chino Latino are having a eat globally, drink locally beer dinner at the Uptown restaurant. (Tuesday, 7 p.m.). Tickets may be sold out for Autumn Brew Review but tickets for a corresponding five-course beer dinner at The Happy Gnome are still available (Wednesday, 6 p.m.).
