Spyhouse's Northeast Location Now Brewing and Roasting Coffee

Popular Uptown/Whittier coffee shop Spyhouse Coffee opened a third location in Northeast at 6 a.m. this morning. Owner Christian Johnson teamed up with designer Jonathan Gomez Whitney to refurbish the space, using 3,000 board feet of barn wood reclaimed from Amish families in Wisconsin. The space also features floor-to-ceiling windows, custom-designed tables and chairs, and a vintage roaster. In addition to brewing coffee, the new location will also serve as a roasting facility.
