The much-anticipated Uptown restaurant Heyday has pushed its opening back to February from the originally-planned late fall/December, according to a tweet from City Pages' Emily Weiss. The restaurant—which will be located at 27th and Lyndale, in the space formerly occupied by the Sunnyside Up Café and the adjacent laundromat—comes from chef Jim Christiansen (formerly of Union) and Loren Zinter (former front-of-house manager at La Belle Vie).
Weiss (@piefingers) tweets: "On the horn with @heydaympls New opening date slated for February, not December as previously noted. Food details (hopefully) to follow..."
