Bang Brewing Taproom Now Open in St. Paul's St. Anthony Park

Bang Brewing Company
2320 Capp Road, St. Paul
Website: bangbrewing.com
Status: Certified Open

This past weekend marked the official opening of Bang Brewing Company's taproom, the first of three breweries set to open along the central corridor. The brewery comes from husband-and-wife owners Sandy and Jay Boss Febbo who have made one of the brewery's major features its commitment to environmental sustainability. Many of the building supplies in and around the 1,300-square foot brew house come from reclaimed materials including the wooden parking deck made from old wood-surfaced road by the Mill City ruins.

Right now, they're offering one beer on tap, their flagship brew, Neat, a very pale ale. They are dedicated to organic ingredients and their beers are crafted without filtering or the use of finings--substances that are usually added at or near the completion of the processing of brewing.

The taproom at Bang Brewing is open Fridays 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays noon to 5 p.m.
