Copper Hen Bringing Farm-to-Table to 25th & Nicollet

Kickstarter-backed The Copper Hen Cakery & Restaurant has found a location at 2515 Nicollet Ave., reports Heavy Table. Owners Chris and Danielle Bjorling announced that they had signed a lease on their Kickstarter page today, with the added announcement that they've decided to add "& Restaurant" to their originally planned bakery.

According to the Kickstarter page, it'll be a "large farmhouse style lunch and dinner menu" with dishes like chicken pot pie, cast iron skillet macaroni and cheese, shepherd's hand pies made with stout gravy, juniper chicken stew, and more. They're still on track for an early April opening.
