Black Sheep Pizza Expanding to Eat Street With Third Location

The coal fired pizzas have earned Black Sheep a legion of die hard fans and soon they will have one more location to frequent.

The ricotta and meatball pies are rolling into the restaurant space last occupied by Eat Street Buddah Kitchen. The marathon-length monikered restaurant closed this summer. That spot had replaced Thom Pham's Azia, which had resided at the address previously.

Today City Pages reports that Black Sheep Pizza has selected the location for the third outpost of their coal-fired mini-empire. Other locations are in the North Loop and downtown St. Paul.

The fresh and gooey pies should be an excellent complement to neighboring restaurants Eat Street Social and Icehouse. First they'll have to remove that ridiculous bar that segregated the front room.

Owners Jordan and Colleen Smith are aiming to open before the end of this year.
