Did you know that Dinkytown is the hotbed of Minnesota pasty culture? Now there are not one, but two different places to buy the meat encased in flaky crust. There's the food truck turned walk in shop for Potter's Pasties on Como Avenue and now there is also Lands End Pasty Co that quietly opened this summer, but have recently expanded business hours. This shop takes a little time to find, down the hallway from Shuang Cheng.

The menu is simple, with just a few options including a proper steak pasty stuffed with potatoes, onions, and rutabagas for $6. There are also chicken, pork and vegetarian potato savory pies available.
Lands End Pasty Co. is open Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
