Sprout Salad Company Opens in Downtown Minneapolis Skyway Today

Before the glut of holidays (and holiday foods) hit us, there's a new spot opening to satisfy lunch cravings and keep us in the same pant size until January. Sprout Salad Company opens to the public in the RBC Building Skyway at 555 Nicollet Mall. Clare Kennedy of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reports the 32-seat restaurant will serve salads with clean tongs and a clean bowl dedicated to each order. Owners Dmitry Kenigsberg and Daniel Gittsovich are already looking for more locations to open the fast-casual concept and hint at a south-metro city location. The menu boasts typical salads like a Nicoise and Cobb, but also ventures into more adventurous areas with Korean barbecue and Argentine steak all for $10 and under. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
