Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are five choice dining and drinking events going on around the Twin Cities:
1) Bourbon County Brunch and Beer Bash
When: Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Butcher & the Boar
What: B&TB is switching up their beer bash by making it brunchy. This time around, the event kicks off before noon with a special brunch menu until 3 p.m. followed up by the recently updated beer garden menu. Featured brewery Goose Island will be on tap (including Bourbon County Brand Barleywine) and there will be live music as always. Find out more details about the event here.
2) Gastro Non Grata
When: Sunday, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Triple Rock Social Club
What: The music and food event is back at The Rock this Sunday. There will be live music, Indeed beer, and fare from The Rabbit Hole. 3) Erik Anderson Pop-Up Dinner
Where: Haute Dish
What: The second installment of Chef Anderson's pop-up restaurant at Haute Dish is this coming Tuesday. The price has been dropped a notch and you'll get 10-courses with wine pairings from Bill Summerville. 4) 612 Brew 1 Year Anniversary
When: Thursday, 4 to 10 p.m.
Where: 612 Brew
What: The NE Mpls brewery celebrates their one-year anniversary of craft beer brewing and invites you to the taproom for festivities. Check out live music, food trucks (Tollefson Pork and Sandy's), the release of a seasonal oatmeal porter, and more. If you get there between 4-5, you'll receive a free pint of beer. 5) Sweethearts & Spirits Benefit
When: Saturday, 6:30 p.m.
Where: The Minneapolis Eagles Club
What: The 4th annual beer, liquor, and wine tasting event that benefits the Seweard Longfellow Restorative Justice Partnership returns this Saturday. Local businesses are teaming up for the sampling event (including sweets from Birchwood Cafe) and there will be a silent auction.
