Several restaurateurs, including Broders' Molly Broder, Tilia's Steven Brown, and The Lynn on Bryant's Peter Ireland, are petitioning Minneapolis to change its 70/30 rule, reports Southwest Journal. The not-always-tightly-enforced rule says that certain restaurants can earn no more than 30 percent of their revenue from alcohol sales. The petition needs 10,790 signatures to get on the 2014 ballot, and will then need a voter supermajority (55 percent) to pass. [Southwest Journal]
