Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Katie Cannon visits some of the city's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, The Buttered Tin.
Since opening last summer, St. Paul's The Buttered Tin has established itself as one of the hottest brunch spots in town. Weekends at this Lowertown restaurant might mean a wait for brunch, but diners are rewarded with dishes like huevos rancheros benedict or the restaurant's well-loved Thanksgiving sandwich, plus one of the bakery's cupcakes for dessert. (Pro tip: Breakfast is served every day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., so if you want your eggs without a wait, head on over during the week.)
Photographer Katie Cannon stopped by on Sunday morning to shoot the brunch scene, complete with eggs, coffee, and, to finish it all off, those cupcakes. Take a look.
