Sociable Cider Werks, Friday at 6 p.m.

Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Katie Cannon visits some of the city's great restaurants tap rooms to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, Sociable Cider Werks.

Since opening just two months ago, Sociable Cider Werks has already made a name for itself in the Northeast tap room circuit. With production focusing primarily on apple graffs (a mixture of cider and beer wort), the brewery/cidery is also creating some tap-room-only nano-batches of beer. Come spring (someday), the tap room will extend outside, featuring an outdoor bocce court; for now, the scene stays inside, which features tables made from old wire spools and lots and lots of reclaimed barn wood.

Photographer Katie Cannon stopped in last Friday night to shoot the beginning-of-the weekend scene, complete with the release of Mighty Axe Hops IPA, with hops from a local grower. Take a look.
