Pizzeria Lola, Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Since opening in Southwest Minneapolis in 2010, Ann Kim's Pizzeria Lola has already become an iconic Twin Cities pizzeria, pushing the pizza envelope with inventive toppings like the trademark Korean BBQ pizza (with Niman Ranch beef short ribs, mozzarella, scallions, arugula, and sesame and soy-chili vinaigrette). Unique Lola touches include a copper-wrapped wood-fired oven that churns out pizzas every night of the week, as well as a photo booth for kids and adults alike.

Photographer Katie Cannon paid Lola a visit last Wednesday evening, when the oven was roaring, the pizzas were melty, and the photo booth was—as always—in use. Take a look.
