Cook St. Paul Now Open, Serving Korean-Influenced Diner Food on the East Side

Status: Certified Open

Though Cook St. Paul's official opening day isn't until tomorrow, the East Side restaurant is now in what it's calling "silent open" mode—i.e. open. It announced that it was open by changing its signage for those in the neighborhood, and also posting the photo on its Facebook page to alert its fans. Owned by longtime friends Charles Cook and Eddie Wu, the restaurant—located in the former Serlin's Cafe space—is serving modern, "Korean-influenced" diner food. The menu still hasn't been posted, but at last word that meant everything from burgers and omelets to Korean pancakes, bi bim bop, and short ribs eggs benedict.

Cook St. Paul is open every day from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant will likely add dinner service later this year.
