Today at noon (actually at 12:34 p.m.), St. Paul's Flat Earth Brewing Company opened its brewery and tasting room doors to the public for growler sales and samples at their new location at the former Hamm's Brewing site. The brewery vacated the previous site, at Benson Avenue (in Highland Park/West Seventh) in mid-March and has been in transition during the last month. Today's opening remains soft as there are still many things to do to the once abandoned building as they continue the massive renovation that has taken place over the last year. An eventual patio, taproom, and possible a event space are all part of the future phases of the expansion.

Today's soft opening goes until at least 8 p.m. and Flat Earth's regular hours are Monday through Saturday from noon to 6:30 p.m. for growler sales. Public tastings are held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., and tours are available on various days and times through the brewery's webpage.
