Watch a Video of Erik Anderson's Epic Night Out in Nashville Fueled by Fernet and Fried Chicken

Photo: Chef's Night Out: Erik Anderson

Before returning to Minneapolis, food website Munchies followed chef Erik Anderson on one of his last nights as chef at The Catbird Seat in Nashville. Watch as Anderson and crew restaurant-hop to various Nashville spots for copious amounts of food and drink (with a stop at chef Sean Brock's Husk Nashville) before heading back to The Catbird Seat for late-night snacks, including a smoked bologna sandwich with house-made Velveeta-style cheese sauce.

In the video, Anderson talks love for Fernet ("hate it or love it, there's no in-between"), his highly-acclaimed restaurant, kitchen staff, ingredients, penchant for "shitty American beer", disdain for Yelpers, the fried chicken at Husk (perhaps a glimpse of what we can expect for the pending champagne and fried chicken pop-up), and so much more.
