1) Piccolo Wine Dinner with Hirsch Vineyards

What: On Tuesday, Piccolo is hosting a dinner featuring wines from Hirsch Vineyards (from the Sonoma coast). The meal is 5-courses with wines paired to each dish. 2) Prairie Dogs Pop-Up at Ike's
When: Sunday, 4 to 9 p.m.
Where: Ike's Food & Cocktails
What: Prairie Dogs is doing another pop up event but this time they're at the iconic downtown restaurant, Ike's. 3) 10th Annual Hot Dish Revolution
When: Sunday, 4 to 7 p.m.
Where: Cedars Hall
What: The 10th Annual Hotdish Revolution returns this Sunday to NE Mpls. The competition of Minnesota hotdishes (don't you dare call it a casserole) promises celebrity judges, music, beer tastings, prizes, and much more. 4) Butcher & the Boar Knob Creek Party
When: Monday, 6 p.m.
Where: Butcher & the Boar
What: On Monday, B&TB is being crowned the top seller of Knob Creek Single Barrel in the world for the second year in a row. 5) Social Science Fermentational Informational
When: Thursday, 6 to 11 p.m.
Where: Science Museum of Minnesota
What: Social Science is back once again for educational imbibing at the Science Museum. This time around the focus is on beer and fermentation. Sample brews from local breweries, including Lucid, Bad Weather, and Burning Brothers, check out fermentation demonstrations, beer density experiments, presentations by local experts, and much more. Also of Note: It's your last chance to check out Birchwood Cafe's pop up at Verdant Tea this weekend as it comes to an end this Sunday.
