Yet another big Twin Cities bartender shakeup this week: Adam Gorski has left Eat Street Social to become the full-time bartender at Loring Park institution La Belle Vie, according to vita.mn. In January, La Belle Vie parted ways with longtime bartender Johnny Michaels, who developed its current cocktail program; Gorski, who has been at Eat Street Social for two year and also spent time behind the bar at Bradstreet Crafthouse, isn't officially being called "bar manager," but he is the only full-time bartender at La Belle Vie.
Those Johnny Michaels drinks won't be going anywhere soon, but Gorski may be adding some drinks of his own, possibly using Cognac and Armgnac as a nod to the restaurant's French cuisine. Gorski's final night at Eat Street Social was Saturday, which Eat Street commemorated with this photo (top), posted on Facebook with the caption: "It was Adam Gorski's final night at the Eat Street Social, so we got him a pie. And threw it in his face. Safe travels and good luck at La Belle Vie, Adam!"
