After launching less than two weeks ago, the Kickstarter for upcoming Northeast brewery/taproom Bauhaus Brew Labs is already 127% funded, with 259 backers pledging $31,756 so far (of a $25,000 goal). The most popular rewards appear to be the multiple event options, with the $100 Molefest sold out. Two backers have also pledged $2,000 each for the Taproom Takeover reward, and one backer has pledged the highest level—$5,000—for the Haus Party reward, which includes the chance to design and brew a beer recipe.
Bauhaus Brew Labs is slated to open at the Crown Center at 1315 Tyler Street in June, and will launch with four beers on tap, focusing on lighter, sessionable brews. The Kickstarter is raising money for all kinds of taproom extras, including a sound system, a karaoke machine, artwork, a biergarten, and a brew lab.
